The project has been conducted jointly by Paginar.net and Aderal. Paginar.net WEB, specialized area of Paginar.net on Internet projects, was in charge of the website development based Wordpress, a popular open source content management system. The image of the site has been designed by Aderal, a company specialized on branding and communication.
As this is an ambitious long-term project, the implementation of the portal has been divided into two main stages. At this first phase fundamental tasks, such as digital image design, original content creation and the implementation of the web itself has been addressed. The second phase will involve the development of important communication tools such as a video-conferencing, e-learning applications or the integration with social networks to give even more diffusion to the Foundation's activities and facilitate interaction with users.
The award was collected by Fernando Mugarza, director of corporate development of IDIS, at Unidad Editorial headquarters in Madrid, in an event attended by leading representatives of the health sector in Spain.
The award recognizes the Institute's website for its innovation and its usefulness in the health field.
