PAGINAR.NET now is part of the Polo IT Buenos Aires, a nonprofit organization that already has nearly 100 members, including high-technology companies, universities and government agencies. "It is very positive that PAGINAR.NET is able to be part of this organization that in just three years of life has established itself as one of the most important institution gathering Software industry's and Information Services (ISS) of the City of Buenos Aires" Says Bruno Gazzera, technology manager of PAGINAR.NET. The mission of IT Polo Buenos Aires is to favor the systemic integration to achieve excellence in technology and technological innovations. Its main objectives are:
• To promote, facilitate and stimulate growth and the ability of technology companies in the region.
• Foster partnerships as a way of working between the companies.
• Generate a region attractive for investment by foreign companies of technological base.
One of the most recent Polo IT Buenos Aires achievements was the signing of the agreement for the creation of an Information Technology Park in the south of the city. The agreement was signed by the Ministry of Production, Shared Services Management Telefonica SA and Polo IT Buenos Aires. "The realization of the technology park in Barracas will allow us to bring together all players in the industry (companies, universities and government agencies) in the same physical space. I am convinced that this is a very important step for the recognition of the IT Industry in the City., "Said Ernesto Galindez, president of the organization.
